Last December 21 was a riot,I've seen the guys I've never seen for months now,as expected there were the usual tuksuhan and asaran,the occasion would've been dull if there were none.We are now grandparents to crisleeann,my best friends daughter.
I thought i was going to be late because i arrived an hour late as it says on the invitation,but i arrived exactly as its started.The christening went well except in the middle of the priest sermon baby leeann started to cry just so her mother knew she was hungry.At almost 12 noon after the christening and traditional picture taking we proceed to their house just a few blocks away from the church to have our lunch.All the food was prepared by our kumpareng Abet and his brother,but i couldn't eat a lot because i feel full already seeing those food on the table.
After that there's the favorite part of ninong's inuman.I didn't drink for a while so i tend to be drunk even if i just take a shot,but still just for pakikisama and not to be labeled as kj i take a shot of beer.
At 6pm i was the only ninang left and the 4 other ninong's still enjoying they're drinks but already drunk,singing without lyrics and dancing without steps,to the fun of me and Joyce.
At 9 pm,they've decided we go home, and just take a cab they worry we cant go home without being lost,because they cant even remember where they live and how to get home.
Its really a fun day to be with them again,even if they act silly when they're drunk.laughs
I'll post a picture next time for everyone to see who gave me the great deal of laugh at the christening of baby leeann. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
